SELF CONTROL

Self-control is one of the keys to success, having control over ourselves is not easy, it does not entail  only our will and might but divine help. Therefore, for you to have absolute self-control, you must seek the help of God. Having control over oneself is not an easy task considering how tempting and tiring life can be. We are all like ships that are complex and also have a destination. Like captains, one must understand the ability to control his or herself. It is fatal if we do not put a check to the things we do in our daily lives because it will surely get in our way. There is a saying that goes “let him who will control the world control himself first”. Self-control comes from being very well organized in the mind. Every successful man on earth got to his position by being able to control his or herself. Self-control ranges from being able to coordinate oneself, potentials, emotions, success, self confidence and having self discipline. Furthermore, one with self-control can control empires, control the mind, manage his/herself. Self-control shows maturity. It is good that we possess control over ourselves because it is a God like quality.
